Twitter has won the battle against Tesla CEO Elon Musk to nullify the takeover deal. Because the court accepted Twitter’s request for an expedited trial.
According to Bloomberg News on the 19th (local time), a Delaware court in the US said that delaying the trial could cause irreparable damage to Twitter and would begin hearings in October.
He added that the trial would be expedited in five days.
Twitter and Musk are already engaged in a fierce battle of nerves before the full-scale legal battle.
Earlier, Twitter criticized Musk for “sabotage”, that is, deliberately delaying the trial date, causing harm and struggling to circumvent his contractual obligations.
In response, Musk countered that it would be reasonable to start a hearing in February next year, saying, “Twitter is demanding an expedited trial to cover the issue of fake accounts, which is the core.”
But Musk suffered a blow from the outset when the court ruled in favor of Twitter’s argument.
