4 Amazing Autophagy Juice Benefits and How to Make It

July 23, 2022 By AdvanceTec Writer

There are various types of detox juices made by adjusting the proper ratio of various vegetables, fruits, and grains. Autophagy juice is one of the detox juices that removes these accumulated toxins in the body. Autophagy is a theory made famous by Professor Yoshinori Osumi, winner of the 2016 Nobel Prize in Physiology or Medicine, and is said to be an intracellular recycling system that acts as a scavenger within the cell. The word autophagy comes from the words auto and phagy. This autophagy phenomenon is said to be activated by fasting for about a day. However, continuous starvation to activate the autophagy phenomenon not only puts a strain on the body, but if it is prolonged, it can disrupt normal metabolism and have the opposite effect of destroying immune function. When consumed as juice using ingredients such as sweet pumpkin, kale, lotus root, banana, and almond, it is said that autophagy can be activated without starving. Now, let’s take a look at the main effects of autophagy juice, how to make it, and what side effects to watch out for when ingesting.

Main Benefits of Autophagy Juice

1. Detoxification

It is said that there are about 100 trillion cells in our body. In each cell, energy and metabolites necessary for activity are created at every moment, and in the process, modified proteins and cellular wastes are generated. If these various wastes and toxins continue to accumulate in the cells, the ability of the cells to purify themselves is reduced. It is said that by consuming autophagy juice, the autophagy phenomenon, which purifies the cells themselves, is activated, thereby exerting an excellent effect on detoxification that removes toxins and wastes.

2. Antioxidant action

Active oxygen, which has strong oxidative power that damages cells, is known to be the main culprit that lowers the body’s immunity and speeds up the aging process. Kale, banana, and sweet pumpkin, which are used as main ingredients for autophagy juice, contain abundant ingredients such as vitamin C and beta-carotene, which have excellent antioxidant power. It is said to help prevent acceleration.

3. Vascular health

Autophagy juice is said to help control blood pressure and manage healthy blood vessels by reducing the level of triglycerides in the blood and lowering blood cholesterol levels. In addition, it prevents the symptoms of arteriosclerosis, which accumulates on the blood vessel wall and causes various cardiovascular and cerebrovascular diseases, and has a beneficial effect on reducing LDL cholesterol, which causes inflammation. In addition, the aforementioned free radicals attack the blood vessel wall and act as the main cause of inflammation, and at the same time act as a risk factor for vascular aging. The excellent antioxidant power of autophagy juice is said to help protect blood vessels from free radicals.

4. Improve liver function

The liver, which is the largest organ in our body, not only helps the metabolism of vital components such as carbohydrates, amino acids, vitamins, and minerals, but also plays major functions such as the metabolism of bile acids and hormones and sterilization. The excellent detoxification effect of autophagy juice effectively removes toxins and wastes accumulated in the liver, thereby improving liver function and preventing related diseases such as fatty liver.

Other effects

In addition to the various effects introduced above, autophagy juice is said to have a good effect on the colon environment by inhibiting the growth of harmful bacteria in the intestine based on its excellent detoxification action. In addition, the rich dietary fiber helps promote intestinal peristalsis, and it is said to help improve constipation by helping bowel movements. It is also known to have beneficial effects in preventing degenerative brain diseases such as dementia and Parkinson’s disease caused by aging. How to make autophagy juice

To make autophagy juice, first prepare 100g of sweet pumpkin, 75g of kale, 75g of lotus root, half a banana, and 7 almonds, which are the main ingredients. Then, put the sweet pumpkin and lotus root in a blender and grind, then add banana, kale, and almonds to grind. After that, add 350mL of water and grind it. When making autophagy juice, it is said that you can consume dietary fiber more effectively if you use raw vegetables rather than powder or juice. Also, it is said that it is a good way to make and consume only the amount that can be consumed at one time, rather than making a large amount at once and eating it. For effective intake of autophagy juice, it is recommended to consume it as usual for 25 days a month, and make juice in the morning and evening for 5-7 days. It is known that at least 5 days is the period in which our body recognizes that we need to clean the cells, so taking it for 5 to 7 days is said to be the most effective way to consume it. And for 5 to 7 days, it is recommended to drink autophagy juice in the morning and evening, and eat it as a regular meal for lunch. Precautions when consuming autophagy juice

Since each food used as a material for autophagy is rich in dietary fiber, it can cause side effects such as diarrhea or abdominal pain if consumed on an empty stomach. For those with poor digestive system, it is a good way to cook sweet pumpkin and lotus root. And if you are allergic to each ingredient, it is recommended to be careful about eating it. Pregnant and lactating women, and those with kidney-related diseases, also need to be careful when taking it. In addition, consumption of autophagy juice while maintaining an empty stomach may affect the normal growth and development of growing children and adolescents, so caution is required.
